Getting Grounded Body Awareness Workshop

These times of so much uncertainty can leave us feeling disconnected, anxious, and. overwhelmed. This Getting Grounded Body Awareness Workshop is an active meditation technique that uses our basic human faculty and capacity to ground our awareness in the sensations of the body, honoring what is here for us, coming into contact with our own sovereignty and inner resources that regulate our nervous system, help us release emotional debris, and establish healthy boundaries. It is part consciousness-settling, part trauma processing, and part community gathering. The experience moves stuck energy and facilitate the processing of intense emotions by learning how to honor, acknowledge, and appreciate our experience as it is. Practices of radical self-acceptance can help you to find a home in your body and heart.

*We will meet live via Zoom. Links will be provided by 8 PM PT by June 28th, 2020. Sign up on the newsletter to receive updates.

No matter what is happening, internally or externally, with awareness - we always have choices over where we put our thoughts, our energy, and whether we choose to feed fear or curiosity.

Getting Grounded Body Awareness Work is an active meditation technique that uses the sensations of the breath, body, and practices of tending to the heart as a way to process tension and soothe your nervous system. It can help you to find a home in your body and your heart, connect you with your own inner resources, and help you learn to trust yourself.

Tending to what needs tending to in your inner landscape can change emotional default settings, lifetime patterns of self-criticism and self-limiting beliefs, anxiety, and trauma, connect you to your intuition and open your heart to wonder, awe, and self-acceptance. It is a self-healing practice that has changed lives and is an efficient and effective way to befriend your tattered heart.
